Obadiah Gamble is an up and coming Twin Cities music artist who’s melodic, inventive brand of indie pop has been featured on The Current’s The Local Show. He was named one of the Current’s top 10 artists of July 2024 and has appeared at Taste of MN, The Green Room, Twin Cities Jazz Fest, Metronome Foundation NxtGn series, Street Show Mpls, and Music in the Backwoods. Obadiah studies jazz guitar and plays with the MacPhail Center for Music First Ave Ensemble. He’s been writing and performing music ever since the age of 6 when his song “Hey Teddy” charmed Minnesota Vikings fans and got quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, to come to his birthday party. Obadiah is partnered with Free Guitars for Kids and got the honor of playing onstage at Paisley Park for one of their events. His music is influenced by a myriad styles, but he has a particular love for jazz and Bossa nova.
